A couple of book projects I worked on for technical editing over the last several months.
Crochet Style, by Shannon Okey. This book features designs from Cecily Keim and Kristina Ramos. The patterns are fun, unique, and easy for anyone to master. Styles include tops, wraps, accessories, and jewelry.
Mr Funky's Super Crochet Wonderful written and designed by Narumi Ogawa. What can I say? Cute, fun, and super simple. Lots of amigurumi and accessory patterns with pattern diagrams included.
They look like very cool, fun books to edit!
ReplyDeleteVERY cool...sounds like a fun job! LOVED your PPM bag...may try my hand at that so I can haul my treasures away when we go to PPM in May. What's your favorite yarn shop? I have only been to 2 in Seattle; Acorn Street and one in West Seattle.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to checking out your book. Have a GREAT day!
Thanks for sharing your talent with the rest of us! =)
Thanks Josa. My favorite yarn shops have to be The Weaving Works, Acorn Street, and Churchmouse Yarn and Teas. I keep trying to get to the Yarn Gallery in Seattle but they close on me. Must be something I said.

ReplyDeleteNah...it's all them. =) Have you been to the shop in Ballard? Can't remember what it is called...I think it is more of a needlework shop, but it's easy to get to ( I used to walk there when DH lived in Ballard)and had some really yummy yarn. A pretty decent selection. Will try to figure out what it is called.
Thanks ofr the suggestions! Haven't been bacl to Seattle for 5 years and can't wait!
Happy crafting! =)
