Recycled Felted Sweater Workshop

Come join me in my next workshop for grown-ups at the Kirkland Library (Kirkland, WA). This is a 3 hour workshop where I plan for everyone to finish a simple recycled felted sweater bag with a few flower options and lots of ideas on how to personalize it to your own taste. Can you believe that this bag was made with just the sleeves of a large sweater?

Join author Julie Holetz (Crochet Away! and Uncommon Crochet, to be published April 2008) to give new life to old wool sweaters. We will take thrifted wool sweaters and turn them into a functional bag with flair. Learn the basics about how to felt knits and discuss ways felt can be manipulated to add your own creative style.
