An artistic collaboration

Ally loves, loves, loves all things Harry Potter. She also loves to draw, so she drew this Golden Snitch. From what I understand Quidditch players used this little bird before the modern day snitch was invented. I haven't read through all of the books so I'm a little unsavvy in the ways of Quidditch history.

I like needlearts. Here is my interpretation of her Snitch. I think I need to work on it because I still like hers better.

Gold metallic thread is not so easy to work with. Especially for a beginner.
